| History of Prostate-Help |
| In late 1998, a group of prostate cancer patients and I, Don
Cooley, decided that a new Mailing List for discussion of prostate
cancer was needed. With their guidance and expertise, I started what
became known as Prostate-Help. It was an immediate hit and include
various web sites dedicated to prostate cancer. There is nothing
else like it on the Internet - all independently owned and managed.
This was the fastest growing prostate help group with the
largest number of posts.
