Vocabulary, Glossary, Abbreviations

 

Are you looking for a meaning of a word, an abbreviation, etc., etc.    Here is where you can find it.  If you look at the subPages table to the right you will see an alphabetical listing that you can go to by clicking on the appropriate page.


This Vocabulary has been built over the years and is updated as I discover new words should be added.  This may happen up to several times a month.  There are no "Last Modified"page indicator included on these Vocabulary pages.


However there may be a better more educational way and that is by using the "Site Search" at the top right.   Put you word or phase into this search box and it will bring the hit from this section as well as where it might be used in other sections.  You can scan the list and read the ones of interest.  Sometimes the word may not be in this Vocabulary list but is used on the site itself.  Try it!


Note the links at the top of the page that gives you a alphabetical choice  by clicking on what you want.  Note the last on which is not a part of the Glossary but important to know - "Diagnostic Medical Abbreviations."


If you can't find it here or on our web site go to "Online Medical Dictionary".  This dictionary has about everything - it is not easy to read or find your word but it will be there.  Click "here" to go to this very comprehensive dictionary.
